4. Martha (Holloway) Blakeley and her husband John Blakeley had 11 children. The name of the 11th child was accidently omitted from the Hardegree book. This child was David Polk Blakeley, born circa 1846 in Clarke Co., GA and died circa 1862-65 in Texas. Burial was at Christian Union Cemetery. As with other family members buried at the cemetery, his grave is now lost. A memorial marker was erected at Peatown Cemetery which listed him as "Polk Blakeley, died in Revolutionary War." He did not die in the Rev. War but family tradition has it that he was wounded in the Civil War and was brought home where he died.
