William HARDEGREE was born circa 1787 in NC and died before 1870 census in Coosa Co., AL.  He was buried in Rockford Cemetery in Coosa Co.  William married Leah MOORE on 24 Jun 1813 in Clarke Co., GA.  Leah was born 1803 in VA and died before the 1880 census.  She was probably buried beside William.  Their graves are not marked.  Leah's father may have been Frederick MOORE.

CORRECTION for page 9:  The death date for William should have been listed as "before 1870 census," not around 1880.  Leah could have not been born in 1803 which conflicts with her marriage date, making her about 10 years old.  A check into the censuses show that she was born during 1790-1800 (per 1830 and 1840 censuses), 1790 (1870 census), 1792 (per 1850 census) and 1798 (1860 census).
